Please join us at Norman P. Smalley Pool on August 10, 2025 at 3:00 SHARP! Elmhurst Parks Foundation will be hosting our inaugural “Duck Derby” to benefit the Elmhurst Park District Recreation Assistance Fund.
Watch hundreds of rubber ducks race down the Smalley Pool waterslide, all for a chance to win great prizes and support the Recreation Assistance Fund. “Adopt” a duck for just $5 and cheer it on as it races toward the finish line! Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers.
💛 How It Works:
• Each $5 donation enters one duck into the race
• You’ll receive an email with your duck’s ticket number
• Ducks race at 3:00 PM – arrive early to get a great view!
• Duck adoptions available online until August 9 at 11:59 PM
• Ducks can also be adopted at the event until 10 minutes before race time
• Winners announced on-site (you don’t need to be present to win)
• Results will be posted on our website + social media
All proceeds benefit the Elmhurst Parks Foundation’s 501(c)(3) Recreation Assistance Fund, helping remove financial barriers to Elmhurst Park District programs and experiences for local families.
