USA MASTERS Weightlifting Training Camp-Acadia

Friday to Sunday with Olympian and 2 time Olympic Head Coach, Michael Cohen at CrossFit Acadia in Ellsworth, ME. A great opportunity to fine tune your skills and get excited for the upcoming National Masters Championships in Boise.

LIMITED TO 30 PEOPLE

Bio - Michael Cohen -USAW Level 5 Coach, 2 time USA Head Olympic Coach and USA Olympic Team member (1980). A USOC Coach of the Year twice, Michael has produced medalists at all levels of competition, from National, International, Pan American and Olympic. He has also produced 43 National champions, 82 Jr. National Champions, 32 Jr. World team members, 9 Senior World Team Members (including gold medalists), 4 Youth World team members, 2 Pan American gold medalists, and 4 Olympians. Michael himself is a multi time National Champion, Junior National Champion, Pan American Games medalist, Multi time World Team Member, 4 time Maccabia Games Winner, Olympic Festival team member, and more. Michael is CEO of USA Masters Weightlifting.

Friday night: Meet and Greet, Active Stretching at 6pm

Saturday - 9:00am Snatch Training and related movements

Lunch Break

3pm - Clean and Jerk and related movements

Sunday - 9:30 am - Both lifts

Other Topics to Include - snatch technical issues, competition rules, competition nutrition, weight loss for competition, coaching strategies, maximizing the clean, jerk technical issues, squats, programming for all levels, Q and A Roundtable

Fees include an event T-shirt.
All hotel and travel expensed are incurred by the athlete.
