THE FILMS:

Dedicated interpreter Maria helps bridge the language gap between doctors and non-English-speaking patients. As Maria attentively translates various conversations, she will face a particular call with a woman who went through a devastating situation that will feel familiar to her.
"Echo" is a visual and poetic exploration of love, memory, and the journey toward letting go. The film intertwines a spoken-word poem with visuals that recall the nostalgia of a beautiful relationship, capturing moments of quiet joy and intimacy. Through a single woman at a lakeside, who playfully flirts with the camera, we are caught in the vibrant heart of a relationship—not its end. The poem reflects the haunting shadows of love that linger even after parting, while the visuals portray the enduring warmth of those moments and memories that still haunt us.
A struggling actress from Venezuela navigates the hardships of the film industry and struggles with the day-to-day difficulties of living with an eating disorder.
Using archival footage filmed along the U.S. / Mexican border and field recordings, this short film addresses the narrative of a Honduran immigrant corroded by violence upon her path to migrating to New Orleans.
Malena, a Mexican neuroscientist who lives in Oxford, is just finishing a paper about chronic pain when there's a knock on the door. Her brother Fernando, who she hasn't spoken to in 10 years, is on the other side of the door holding her mother's urn. After she gets over the initial shock the siblings embark on a journey to the English countryside to honour her mother's last wish.
Tras su divorcio, Julia se muda temporalmente con Clara, su mejor amiga. La convivencia pone en evidencia contrastantes paradigmas de vida: deseos, planes y su relación con la maternidad.
