Gears & Beers Bike Ride

Global Brew and The Cyclery have partnered to bring you a fun event for a great cause. With support from our friends at Urban Chestnut Brewing Company, we’re inviting you to pedal with purpose this summer.

For families of children with disabilities, purchasing an adaptive bicycle often means investing in specialized - and costly - parts to ensure safety and usability. A fully customized bicycle and can cost anywhere from $1,200-$4,000.

With your help, we want to raise of minimum of $1,200 to help “Variety Build-A-Bike” build an adaptive bike that will be donated to a child who needs it.

Our ride will begin at 10a, and follow a 10 mile path beginning and ending at Global Brew Edwardsville. Afterward, enjoy your complimentary draft of Zwickel Light from Urban Chestnut, and live music at Global Brew from 12-3p.

Your entry fee also includes a raffle ticket for a bicycle donated by Urban Chestnut. The winner of this bike will be drawn at 1p, following the ride, and additional tickets will be available up until the drawing for an additional donation of $5 each. All proceeds will be applied directly to our fundraising goal.
