🍂More Details🍂
What is the Fall Feast?
~ Our community values shared meals. For this event we humbly ask those who are able to bring a potluck item.
🍂What is a Passion Show?🍂
~ The passion show is a variety, talent style show, where people sign up to sing, perform, speak or share something they are passionate about or have been working on. It is a great way to get to know community members and celebrate passion and vulnerability!
🍂What happened to Symmetree?🍂
~ Our 3 day event just was not feasible this year. We chose to host a one day event instead because we still really wanted to see everyone and celebrate the Fall.
🍂What kind of children’s programming will there be? 🍂
~ Children are cherished members of the community. We will have games, arts and crafts, field games, and workshops.
We would like to acknowledge that the majority of the Arca Tribe community lives on the Treaty 6 and Treaty 7 territory in Amisk (Alberta) the traditional lands of the Blackfoot, Cree, Saulteaux, Dene, Metis, and Siouan to name a few. We recognize that by living on this land, we are all treaty people and subject to their terms for which the original intent was for all people to coexist peacefully and share the abundance of Turtle Island.
