A Taste of Mexico is an immersive cooking experience where you'll learn to make authentic Mexican dishes from scratch, guided by our expert instructor, Yereni. As the owner of Chocolate Don Marin , Yereni is passionate about sharing her heritage and the rich flavors of Mexico with you. Here is a little bit more information, from Yereni, about the specialty chocolate she makes, that we will be using and tasting in our class:
"Founded by my father, Don Marin, our family business is dedicated to produce CACAO products and artisanal Mexican chocolate Oaxacaño. Don Marin’s vision was always centered on the importance of health, longevity, mental health and wellbeing. He firmly believed in traditional methods and rejected industrial processing.
Today, I am proud to continue his legacy by crafting his cherished recipes, using only natural ingredients. Each chocolate tablet we create reflects our commitment to purity, tradition, and the authentic Mexican chocolate-making techniques my father championed since 1977.
