Timeless Tragedies: A Take Note Concert

Take Note Choir returns to the Edinburgh Fringe to celebrate some of the greatest musical tragedies and laments throughout the ages, from Baroque to Motown and Musicals.

This year's show will include highlights from Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, Monterverdi's Lamento d'Arianna, and Stephen Sondheim's classic The Ballad of Sweeney Todd. But it's not all tears and woe, as there will also be performances of beloved songs from Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along, The Supremes, and Stevie Wonder.

Come along and enjoy an evening of music, conducted by award winning Callum Hüseyin and accompnaied by talented pianist Kateryna Perepechaeva-Myrcheva.

Important Information:
Tickets £8 (£4 for kids aged 9-16, kids 8 and under go free).
Doors open at 7pm.
This concert will include a short interval of 15 minutes.
The venue is equipped with a hearing loop and disabled access.
