Camp will continue to run as a specialty camp (focus on hockey development), but will function more like a summer day camp with "Bunks":
Limit of 10 Skaters per Age Classification (Mites, 10u, 12u, 14u/15u)
1 Senior coach (Collegiate or 18u player) and 1 Junior Coach (16u player)*
1:5 Coach to Player Ratio* so your player will receive specific and immediate feedback each day
Each camp is designed with a primary focus on skating and puck possession (morning sessions). After just one week, you will notice the difference in your child's: edge work, starts and stops, transitions, acceleration, speed, passing/receiving, and stickhandling. More importantly, your child will be more confident in their individual game and skills. Through a constraints led approach to on-ice teaching, players will apply their individual technical skills to tactical play (afternoon sessions). This will develop your player's situational awareness and Hockey IQ. It is not required but recommended that families consider registering for multiple weeks of camp as the program is set-up with lessons that build on the previous day's learning.
Time on ice: 3 hours daily
Time Conditioning Off-Ice: 45 minutes daily
Off-Ice Stickhandling Sessions: 20 minutes daily
Time in Classroom: 15 minutes daily
