Join us as we kick off summer with a Student Showcase at Moonrise Aerials! This event allows our talented students to show off their skills to their fellow students, as well as friends and family.
Students of all levels are encouraged to perform, and mini-acts are welcome for those who don't want to perform for a whole song! This showcase is about celebrating progress, sharing aerial love, and having a great time with fellow students and friends.
Spectators:
Moonrise members can get their ticket on fitDEGREE, other attendees please RSVP to this event, or let Roxanne, Ellie or a performer know you're coming so we have an estimate of audience numbers. Ticket price is $10 and can be paid in advance on fitDEGREE or in-person on the day of the show. Audience members are encouraged to dress up in their best summer vacation wear!
Performers:
1. Sign up for the event (performer version) on fitDEGREE - cost is $10 to perform
2. Send your song choice and apparatus to Ellie by 6/5. You can perform for half a song or just one minute!
3. Attend open practices for performance prep. An instructor will be there for questions and guidance.
4. Wear a summer themed costume (optional)! Any outfit for hammock or silks should be free of zippers, sequins, or material that could damage the fabric. No glitter please.
5. Let Ellie know if you have friends or family from outside Moonrise attending so we can plan for audience seating!
