Today we are taking a field Trip to the Northwest Trek Wildlife Park in Eatonville, Washington!
Trail Level: Easy
Trail Length: 2-3 miles
trail Terrain: Paved and Gravel
Wheelchair/Stroller accessible: Yes! The whole park is.
Ages intended: 0+
Required Passes: Entry Fees + Tram tickets if wanted
Come along as we explore the trails of the Northwest Trek! We will meet near the entrance next to cute snail. I will post a picture in the comments. We will begin our adventure in the Self-guided nature trails of the park. There is almost three miles of trail to explore and we will play by ear the amount we walk depending on the kids. After that we will head to the amazing playground where we will have lunch and play. The second part of the day is up to you! Feel free to part ways and explore the rest of the park.
You can bring in food if you would like! So pack a yourself a picnic. There are covered picnic tables. And im not kidding this playground is top notch!
They were doing renovations to the gift shop last time i was there so im excited to see what they have now! Some paths were down due to heavy storms but they will let us know if that is still in effect once we get there.
TRAM! If you get tickets to the tram, i would recommend getting it for the last ride available for the day. It’s a great way to end the day, and the tour ends after the park closes so its a good way to transition to the car vs trying to get your kid to leave while the park is still open.
Bathrooms: located through out the park.
Meeting UP: we will meet at the snail near the entrance INSIDE the park. We will meet inside the park, i will post a picture of the meeting spot in the comments below. This hike will be at 12:00PM due to the distance of the drive. We will begin walking to the trails at 12:10PM. To insure we wait for you, click the going button, but please make sure to change your status if anything should arise and you can’t make it.
