Come learn from Jason Brake of Northern Path MeatWorks, a mobile processing expert. Jason is a gifted teacher! A brief presentation will kick off our day, followed by hands-on processing. All participants will have the opportunity to experience all workstations, including slaughter, scalding, plucking, evisceration, methods of parting out birds, and packaging. You will thoroughly learn the various techniques and valuable tips to process meat birds and rabbits more efficiently and humanely. Booklet included. Rabbits will be processed after the chickens. Light refreshments will be available. Whip cracking interainment after class! Yeehaw! Come join the fun! Not ready for hands-on learning? Make a note on your form.
