Respiratory Protection

This half day workshop will focus on three important topics related to worker and workplace safety. Participants will learn about:

• Common activities where workers can be exposed to crystalline silica (such as cutting concrete, stone, brick), the different types of crystalline silica found in construction environments, best practices for preventing exposure in construction, and related OSHA safety standards.
• HazCom best practices and safety guidelines, including OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (HCS).
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) best practices related to use, proper care, maintenance, and disposal.

Who Should Attend: Any employee who may be exposed to silica, chemicals, and/or other hazardous material(s), and/or any supervisor responsible for such employees.

Registration Information:

• Advance registration at www.ritrust.com is required. Limit 4 employees.
• Registration Deadline is Friday, June 6, 2025.
• There will be a $50 "No Show" fee for anyone who registers but then fails to attend the training.
