Megan-Geoffrey Prins FEATURING Variations on Virtuosity
In a rousing programme of virtuosic works, internationally acclaimed pianist Megan-Geoffrey Prins delves into the poetic and technical extremes of piano playing. The
programme includes variations by Mozart, the devilish Gaspard de la Nuit by Ravel, and poetic yet equally virtuosic Corelli Variations by Rachmaninoff. This programme, titled
Variations on Virtuosity, won the Woordfees award for Best Classical Music Instrumental Production in 2023. Prins’ many accolades include being named the
Standard Bank Young Artist for Music in 2019.
