First up, Adam is running quite possibly one of the most tragic, most introspective and certainly most intimately surreal game we've ever had at GoPlayDurham.
In a fitting tribute to the passing of the late great David Lynch earlier this year, they have decided it's only fitting that Something Is Wrong Here.
"To Work in a dream. If it's real, and you believe in it, you can say almost anything." - David Lynch
'This is a dark dream of troubled times.
Something Is Wrong Here is a diceless roleplaying game inspired by the uncanny work of David Lynch, written by Kira Magrann. It's atmospheric, emotional, and deeply personal. You play troubled humans who struggle with their dark pasts and inner demons in order to make meaningful connections with each other.
The line between player and character is intentionally drawn thin, causing feelings to bleed from one to the other.'
(Trigger warnings for this game WILL MOST LIKELY INCLUDE: Suicide, depression, self-harm, loss of reality, identity.)
This game is a particularly dark affair, and if you struggle with any of the above, it's not necessarily one to go for. As well as prop Hand Mirrors being used, X cards and safety tools will be of PARAMOUNT importance in this game.
If you have an urge to drown in the darkness, however, join us.
The water's warm.

Our alternative game for the evening, if you're looking for something a little lighter (!) is being ran by our very own slightly shoddy necromancer Freddie!
Don your fake knee-length beards and grab your cloaks baby, it's time to fool your enemies into thinking you are Definitely Wizards!
Definitely Wizards is a rules-light comedy/fantasy TTRPG about pretending to be a wizard created for ZineQuest3. All you need is a few friends, a few d6's, a way to take notes, and a few hours to play.
You play as a party of non-wizard magic users in a world where only wizards are permitted to use magic. Players must complete the Wizard Certification Practical Exam, a series of increasingly difficult chambers with puzzles to solve and/or monsters to fight, in order to become licensed wizards. The core of the game is a balancing act- use your natural, non-wizard powers to survive the test, but not so much that you give away your secret.
***************************************
Character sheets and dice will be made available for both games, but feel free to bring your own if you'd like.
We're looking forward to seeing you there!
