TCD 4th Friday Contra in Durham

Band: Sweet Carolina Stringband (Deb Shebish, fiddle; Joe Troop, banjo; Lu Furtado, guitar; and Doug Shadwick, bass)

If you're new to contra dancing, or need a refresher, arrive by 7:15 so you can check in and be ready for the lesson that starts at 7:30.

No fragrances, please.

Wear comfortable soft-soled shoes and cool, comfortable clothes. No partner expected, and masks are fine.

Our suggested sliding scale for admission is $10 - $30, and TCD needs an average of $20 per dancer to break even. No one is turned away for lack of funds, pay an amount that feels good to you. We accept cash or credit card.
