Megan Jean/Byrne Duo
Megan Jean and Byrne Klay are a married musical couple who’ve spent most of the past 20 years playing their original music all over America. They’ve been featured on PBS’ “Music Voyager”, NPR’s Mountain Stage, The Heartland Networks “More than the Music” as well as countless festivals and concerts as both a duo and with their four piece band, Megan Jean’s Secret Family.
As a duo the couple showcases the intimate nuances of their music. Megan’s powerful singing voice, cinematic lyrics, and deep bass pocket tell the intriguing stories of her life over Byrne’s unique musicality and electric banjo prowess.
Curtis Eller’s American Circus
Curtis Eller is a banjo player, songwriter, dancer, and storyteller. The beloved show business veteran began performing at the age of seven as a juggler and acrobat, but has since turned to the banjo because that’s where the money is. His band, Curtis Eller’s American Circus, has developed a devoted international following based on spellbinding stage performances that combine a dreamlike vision of American history with silent film style, physical comedy, and explosive rock & roll energy. Eller has spent thirty years relentlessly touring the festivals, burlesque houses, beer halls, underground theatres, and punk rock shitholes of North American, Europe, and Australia.
The band features Stacy Wolfson on vocals, Hugh Crumley on bass, and the newest member of the extended American Circus family, Chris Black, on drums.
