We are excited to announce our 4 week beginner series! If you are new to dance, trying to get into it, or come from another dance style this series is for you!
Information:
This will be a progressive series. Each week we will add on to what we learned the previous week. Each lesson will be an hour in length. Each week the lesson will be led by a different instructor allowing the other instructors to participate in the class rotation. This is to ensure quality practice. Over the course of the series we will cover a wide variety of topics including musicality, connections, and techniques from different dance styles.
Social:
Although there is no social dance after the classes, each week we will be going out to the Blue Note Grill in downtown Durham for their weekly blues jam. Feel free to join us for some great live music, food & drink if you want, and a chance to practice what you have learned.
Cost:
$30 for the whole series if you sign up ahead of time or $10 for each individual class you would like to attend. We encourage everyone who wants to come to commit to the whole series but also understand that things come up.

Location:
The first lesson will take place in the dogwood room at the DFM which is different from the room we usually dance in. If you have never been to the DFM more parking information will be posted closer to the event date.
