This one is a little different! As part of Festival Fortnight with Leap Sport Scotland not only are we inviting skaters from other league to come play and have fun, we are also opening our doors for spectators!! Which means.... bring the faaaaaaam!!

For those that haven't been to our WFTDA Open Scrims on Friday nights, we don't pick teams but have a bunch of bibs on the side to mix it up every jam and you don't need scrim shirts just numbers on your arms for our wonderful officials to pack you off to the penalty box!
This event is run to WFTDA gender policy, pronouns will be respected and gender neutral terminology is upheld in the first instance. We also have assurances from our venue that our continued use of self managing changing rooms and toilets is upheld during our events.
⚡Price: £5 per Skater to attempt to cover the hall costs of the night
(if you are currently under hardship please don't feel you cannot attend, we would rather you came and had a lovely time with us with no pressure to pay!)
⚡VIPs: Officials free of charge for donating their precious time to run a made up game on roller skates. Come also have fun friends!!
⚡Level: We will be hosting jams of both ADVANCED and B LEVEL, so there will be a place for everyone! we expect folk to have scrim experience under their belt for the B level jams.
⚡Spectators: The doors will be open to come get a look at what roller derby is all about and DRD members will be on hand to discuss the rules, the play and where the heck the ball has gone. We may only have a few chairs but should be able to lug out the blue mats! This will be free of charge but donation buckets will be about if you are able to help in anyway towards the hall cost!
No need to book in advance just come on over!
