About the event

Free summer workshop: Design the tartan for Tayside Mountain Rescue
Join us at one of our free workshops to design a tartan for Tayside Mountain Rescue! 🧵

We're been working in partnership with Tayside Mountain Rescue Team and Andie Sewing School on a national competition for young people aged up to 18, to create the tartan for Tayside Mountain Rescue and their Hamish the highland coo mascot.

You can drop-in to one of our workshops to learn how to create your own tartan through colour theory and paper weaving, before submitting your design to the competition!

📍 Children's dept, Central Library Dundee Libraries
🗓️ Saturday 19th or Monday 28th July
⏱️ Drop in between 1-3pm

These workshops are suitable for young people age 4-18. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.
