Dronley Woods Walk lead by Dirk Sporeleder

Meeting at 10am in the Dronley Wood car park.

Join us for a guided walk in a multi-purpose community woodland with Dirk Sporeleder - an expert in woodland management. He will talk about and show a site-adapted, diverse, resilient, irregular mixed woodland that is being carefully managed for future generations.

Timber production, biodiversity, recreation, health and well-being are equal priorities in this wood. You will see what has been achieved so far and what the future woodland management aims are for the future.

The walk will be a loop, however, some paths are uneven and require sturdy footwear. There are interpretation boards along the all-abilities path which offer information about the woodland management strategy at Dronley Wood.
