Rising alternative rock outfit Psyrin are set to make their Dundalk debut at Toales Live Venue on Friday, June 13, promising a night of dark atmospherics and high-octane energy.
Led by vocalist Chloe Morrisbyrne, Psyrin bring a distinctive blend of cinematic intensity and hard-hitting rock, drawing sonic comparisons to Paramore, Ethel Cain, and Evanescence. The band is rounded out by Ben Englishby on guitar, Aoibhe Gill on bass, and drummer Jamie Myers, formerly of Osiris.
After a strong showing at Whelan’s Upstairs in Dublin, where they shared the stage with Myrrtle and Supersonic Sylvia, Psyrin are currently preparing to record their debut material, due for release later this year. Their live performances, however, have already begun to generate buzz for their dynamic stage presence and genre-defying sound.
Supporting the bill are two prominent local acts: Apropos, fresh from the finals of Toales’ Battle of the Bands competition, and Rowan Murphy, a highly regarded indie-folk singer-songwriter known for her emotionally resonant sets.
Doors open at 8pm. Admission is just €5, with tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis at the door.
For fans of powerful live music and fresh talent, this is an evening not to be missed.
