About the event
Medieval Dumfries - free guided walk
Each year we reflect on a turning point in Scottish History, the slaying of the Red Comyn in Dumfries and Robert the Bruce raising the royal standard as king. That happened on 10th February 1306.
This year we'll be heading out a few days before the anniversary with an event on Saturday 7th February with a free guided walk exploring what happened that historic day and other stories of life around medieval Dumfries. You would be very welcome to join this popular guided walk. We'll meet at Burns Statue at 2pm, Saturday 7th February. This is a free event and there's no need to book, just turn up.
