Please join me and the Campaign for the Common Good to welcome Josh Turek to Dubuque for his first visit: Sunday, September 21, at the Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium.
Doors open at 5 p.m. Meet-and-greet followed by a program at 6 p.m.
Josh is a Democratic candidate for the United States Senate in 2026 and current state representative from Council Bluffs.
Between a great river called the Missouri and a great river called the Mississippi lies a great state called Iowa that deserves greater representation in Washington, D.C. Josh Turek is a man for this moment.
Josh and I sat next to each other for two years in the Iowa House of Representatives. I have observed him in action, up close and personal. I will discuss my support for Josh’s candidacy. Josh will tell us about his background and his vision for a better Iowa and a better America.
I hope our connection will incline you to give Josh a look and a listen. That’s what our September event is all about. Come meet Josh for yourself. Then, I hope you will consider supporting his campaign, too. And, by all means, bring a friend!
PS – I can now be found on Substack, writing regular blogposts under the name “Iowa Public Policy Dude.” I cover and reflect on issues of local, state and national importance. If you do not subscribe, you can do so for free here:
