Sound Therapy in a Palliative Setting
by Tara Crawford
Healing Sounds have traditionally played a key role in all of life's transitions from childbirth to death in indigenous cultures all around the world. Nowadays, Sound Therapy is increasingly being welcomed in hospitals and hospices as the power of sound is being rediscovered.
Tara will discuss the role she played in treating a dear friend with Solfeggio Frequencies in both a hospital and Hospice setting. She will talk of their shared experiences, how she chose the instruments and frequencies, how they were received, and how they helped promote healing and comfort.
She will demonstrate how she chose the instruments with self testing techniques and also demonstrate the sequence that was born from their friendship on the Solfeggio Tuned Pipe Chimes.
Tara is also a Bach Flower Practitioner and will share how Sound Infused Bach Flower Remedies helped them both and the wider family.
Tara Crawford is Professional Sound Therapist & BioKinesiologist based in Wicklow.
