Kirtan is a very simple and powerful way to meditate. The music does the work for you as you flow with the melody, rhythm, and vibrations. Singing is the heart of Kirtan and yet no one cares what you sound like (singing prudes I'm looking at you here! This is your moment to completely let go of your fears and let the music carry you). All voices merge together to become one incredibly soothing voice. The sound of Kirtan is considered so powerful, it helps to uplift the mind, open the heart and bring inner peace. Together, we will be creating a space where we go towards a deeper sense of connection, belonging, and love. We will end the session in Savasana bringing everyone into a 30 minute sound journey. Sound healing is an ancient wellness practice that uses the vibrations of sound to promote physical and emotional well-being. Sound is absorbed at cellular level and it supports the body's natural healing processes by bringing mind and body into a state of harmony.
