Whether you’re an aspiring designer, looking for a new hobby, a homeowner overwhelmed with a new build or renovation or looking for a refresh, our beginner’s 4-week Interior Design Taster Course is your key to unlocking a world of creativity and transformation. No prior experience or qualifications are required just a love of interior design!
Hosted by internationally acclaimed interior design expert, Sharon Conneely-Donaldson, the Creative Director of Full Circle Interior Design, whose career spans over 30 years including involvement in multi million-dollar projects in the Middle East.
What to expect:
Module 1: Project Review/Space Planning/ Mood Boards
Have fun by selecting one of your own rooms to design for your course project! Discover practical tips to revamp your home and unleash your creativity with an introduction to space planning and mood boards.
Module 2: Bedroom & Living Room Designs
Industry standards of furniture sizes suitable for living rooms and bedrooms will be provided as well as discussions on styles, forms, specifications and finishes.
Then you will jump straight into creating floor plans and mood boards for living rooms and bedrooms.
Module 3: Colour/Design Styles/Floor Plans
Discover your design style! We will nurture your style by exploring a range of design styles ranging from mid-century modern, contemporary, country to Scandinavian, to name but a few. Colour palettes will be explored and discussed.
Module 4: Project Presentations/Feedback
Showcase your creativity and hard work by revealing the course project of your selected room to the group! Receive positive feedback from your tutor Sharon and peers. Your tutor will suggest specific skills that you could explore more.
