20th Anniversary: Caveat Emptor Live at The Grand Social, Dublin - July 26, 2025
It's hard to believe 20 years have passed since the release of our debut album, Caveat Emptor.
Dublin in 2005 was a world of its own, and looking back, those days of boundless possibility feel almost surreal. Recording at the (now sadly closed) Creamy Sonic Studios, we knew we had something special, but we never imagined how profoundly Caveat Emptor would shape our lives. The album opened doors we didn't even know existed, revealing paths we'd only dreamed of.
Today, as we reflect on the album’s legacy, the most heartwarming aspect is the connection we've built with you, our listeners. We remember those early shows, where “Speechless” and “5 Second Heaven” were sung along to by a devoted few, and we cherish the international community that has grown since.
Every artist hopes their songs will find a place in people's lives, becoming a companion on their journey. Hearing how our music has soundtracked pivotal moments for you, our fans and friends has been profoundly humbling. To know our art has served that purpose is the most meaningful gift we could receive.
We remain eternally grateful to the many incredible people who helped bring Caveat Emptor to life. While too numerous to name individually, we must acknowledge Niall Stynes, Peter Slanskter, and Brendan Dempsey, who championed us from the very beginning.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your unwavering love, support, and encouragement. Through highs and lows, it's been our constant, and it means the world to us.
