Explore Box Hill & Mickleham on this 16km circular Hike with some stunning views and surprising stories.
An 9.5mile circular walk with dramatic deep valley views. The Box Hill, Lodge Hill and Juniper Hill area is steeped in history with signs of settlement going back as far as the Bronze age, and also once crossed by the Pilgrims Way.
Along this stunning but challenging route we’ll pause to take in some wonderful viewpoints along the way such as Broadwood’s Folly and Boxhill viewpoint. Beyond the picturesque village of Mickleham, we’ll pass the historically interesting grassy open area known as Mickleham Gallops offering pretty views and a rich history.
The Box Hill Cafe will provide a well-earned cuppa and slice of cake before the last descent to the bottom of Boxhill.
