Mueller's annual outdoor recreation event is back! This event is for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors at any age.
Things to do:
At Outdoor Skills Day visitors will have a chance to participate in a variety of activities including archery, target shooting, clay pigeon shooting, geocaching, and smores making. Everyone can try these activities whether they are brand new or a pro at the skill. For safety you must be 10 years or older to participate in target shooting and 12 years or older to participate in clay pigeon shooting.
Kids fishing poles will be given away again at Dragonfly Pond to the first 65 kids ages 12 and under that show up.

Food and Drink:
Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation will be making hot dogs to give away while supplies last. Bring your own food and reusable water bottles to the event. No free pre-filled water bottles will be available. There are water spigots throughout the park and a water bottle refill station at the Visitor Center where you can refill your water bottles.
Parking:
Park in any of the event lots. From there you can walk or take a shuttle to the other activities throughout the park. The shuttles will start their last lap around the park at 2:15 p.m. so be sure to look out for them at that time if you need a ride back to your vehicle.
Passports for Prizes:
When you arrive, grab a passport at one of these locations: Livery, Dragonfly Pond, Elk Meadow or Outlook Ridge. Each activity station will have a stamp for your passport. Complete the passport and return it to an orange bucket at any of the event lots by 2 p.m. to be entered into drawings for prizes! Prize winners will be announced at 2:30 p.m.
Cost:
This event is free with a park pass. Park Passes can be purchased at the Visitor Center for $10/vehicle starting at 9 a.m.
