Salute to the Buccaneers of Language!
After a hiatus of 6 years, Viqarunnisa English Language Club has finally reopened its door of glory with “4th National English Language Fiesta 2025”. With our motto ‘from words to world peace, let language be the key’, we’re bestriding once again the stairs of bliss!
Language has always been the bearer of the human mind, pursuing its novices through the game of words and letters. From sign language to hieroglyphics to modern speech, words have carried the essence of thought. As John Milton wrote in ‘Paradise Lost': “The mind itself is its own place, and it can make a heaven of hell, or a hell of heaven.” Words shape values, bridge hearts, and transform worlds. They have left their trails across novels, history, and revolutions — from Shakespeare’s groundbreaking tragedy ‘Hamlet’ to Jane Austen’s timeless ‘Pride and Prejudice’, words have captured human emotions, ethical dilemmas, and even stood as revolutions against aristocracy. And today, English, as the lingua franca, continues to connect minds across the globe.
With this fiesta, we celebrate not just a language, but a legacy one that unites, inspires, and transcends boundaries. We aspire you to take part in this fest and embark on a journey where language meets creativity, intellect and passion.

Segment Details:
1. English Olympiad: Are you confident about your English language skills? If so, then brace yourself to ride on a voyage with our English Olympiad. It is not your everyday scholarly olympiad, but a test, where you have to exceed your limitations. You’ll be judged on your compatibility in grammar, vocabulary and literature. So buckle up and expand your horizon with our olympiad!
2. Spell Bee: Can you spell the word ‘Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis’ with ease? In that case, our spell bee will be the perfect opportunity to showcase your mastery of words and their structures. This fun, competitive and popular activity will surely improve your vocabulary to the next level.
3. Crossword Puzzle: English sometimes becomes quite a mystery. And crossword puzzles hold the answers. In this mind-teasing challenge, you won’t need only vocabulary but also analytical thoughts. So, if you’re confident about your problem-solving and vocabulary skills, then this is for you!
4. Impromptu Speech: You’re on the stage, the whole arena is looking at you as you’re expressing your beliefs and thoughts, and suddenly everyone starts clapping for you as you take the crown. If you want to feel this sentiment, then you’re on the right path! Our impromptu speech is not just a game of language, but also of logical arguments, quick wit and sparse ideas.
5. Poster Presentation: Arts and culture have carried the values of language for a long time. With that in mind, we have prepared one of our signature and famous segments ‘Poster Presentation’. Youth, who are interested in conveying their affection for English through colors and papers, this is for you!
6. PowerPoint Presentation: Tech meets language! In this modern age of technology, it is quite impossible to hold an event that doesn’t require the usage of any gadget. Show your skills in both expression and design with our PowerPoint Presentation, the perfect stage for creativity and confidence.
7. Turn the Coat: In this segment, you will both be the defender and the attacker. Given the topic on the spot, you need to circulate both positive and negative sides and present them as if you’re in your own Hall of Fame.
8. Instant Story Writing: Do you want to build your own fantasy world with your own characters? Do you have what it takes to shape a vague story to a magnificent plot? Our ‘Instant Story Writing” will give you the chance to create your own storyline, with some plot twists perhaps?
9. Wall Magazine: Another segment to express your creativity of art and language, where there are no boundaries of your competence. If you have a hand for crafts, then take part in this and reveal your latent potential!
