Join us on June 17 at 4:30 for a performance of music and storytelling from griot Michelle “Mama Jahra” McKinney in celebration of Juneteenth. Mama Jahra blends song, story, and factual history into a presentation the whole family can learn from and enjoy. After the performance, explore a showcase of children’s books that help explain Juneteenth further. This event offers something special—you won’t want to miss it.
