The Annual Gathering for LGBT+ Issues offers advocates, community leaders, and the public a chance to engage on issues impacting LGBT+ persons. Participants receive updates from national social justice and equality organizations, workshop resources and opportunities, and valuable feedback through the “Open Space” process. The Mayoral Candidate Forum is an opportunity for campaigns to speak directly to Detroit’s LGBT+ residents about impactful issues.
