AIAD Service Day: Life Remodeled 2025

September 1st is the newly updated custom T-Shirt deadline. Anyone who signs up after September 1st will need to get a Life Remodeled t-shirt from the Six Day Project check-in location on October 3rd.

Join AIA Detroit and the greater Metro Detroit design community as we come together on October 3rd to clear blight and beautify the eastside neighborhood surrounding Life Remodeled's new opportunity hub– Anchor Detroit!

We’ll be back in the eastside neighborhoods surrounding Anchor Detroit to clear blight, beautify, and make a HUGE impact for the families who call those blocks home!

All tools are provided, and our volunteers will receive a custom t-shirt to wear on AIA Detroit's volunteer day. Volunteers should bring their own work gloves and protective eyewear/sunglasses as well as wear pants and closed-toed shoes. All volunteers must be at least 14 years old, and volunteers under 18 years old must be accompanied by adults.

Below is the schedule for your volunteer day:

• 11-11:45 AM: Arrive at Six Day Project HQ
• 12-4:30 PM: Blight removal and beautification on assigned block
• 4:30-5:30 PM: Volunteer cleanup
