When? Sat, June 14th from 4pm to 11pm.
Intended for Austin's deaf community only. (We welcome Houston and SA ofc!) Deaf/HoH, CODA, GODA, ASL students, ITP students, interpreters etc...this event is for you!
Coed means must have at least 3 female players on court.
8 players max per team.
Guaranteed 4 games.
$35 per player.
The way it works: Get your team together, pick a captain and they sign the team up via link provided. Captains gather their teammates fee and send *one* payment per team. Info is in sign up form.
Format:
Games played to 25pts with hard cap at 27. Teams will switch sides once when one side reaches 13pts. Off teams will be responsible for reffing so stay close to your court and know your play schedules. After pool play, top 4 teams will advance to single elimination playoffs. Pools are determined by blind draw pick.
Prizes:
If 15 total teams, prizes are projected at $150/player for 1st place, $75/player for 2nd and a food or bar tab voucher for 3rd place. (TBD by time of end and food truck availability.)
More details about venue will be posted soon! Our host is ATX Beach with beautiful sand volleyball courts, plenty of parking, full bar, dog pin and covered seating area by courts. Players younger that 18 must be accompanied by parent/guardian. Players play at your own risk.
