We are excited to introduce our very first guitar ensemble to the Zenith Chamber Music Festival lineup with a unique and engaging performance by Oleg Timofeyev and Dan Caraway, known as the Seven-String Guitar Museum on Wheels.
Oleg, the world’s leading expert on the history of the seven-string guitar, and Dan, a seasoned Iowa-based guitarist, have been performing together for over 20 years. Their collaborative work has been featured on international recordings and concert tours across the United States and Europe.
This special concert showcases seven historic seven-string guitars, each with its own fascinating story, spanning from 100 to 250 years old. Featuring music from England, Poland, Ukraine, and Russia, the performance blends history, music, and storytelling in a way that is both educational and deeply entertaining.
As always, this chamber music concert is FREE thanks to our donors. Learn more at zcmf.org.
