Phaedrus Bach is a name and a musical chautauqua. Four friends with a deep respect of music’s history who continually challenge their own version of originality. Days and weeks have turned into months and years; they’ve been at this a very long time. Phaedrus Bach has been hibernating without sleeping, and it’s good to play. Phaedrus Bach is Arnold (drums), Paul (guitar), Guy (bass) and Kevin (guitar/vocals).


•• ADAM BRUCE ••

Adam Bruce is a Des Moines-based Prairie Soul singer and songwriter. Adam’s honest, direct songwriting reflects his rural Midwestern upbringing while his vocal howl recalls an impassioned Southern revival. Adam debuted in 2017 with the “Wild Rose EP,” a five-song collection of folk-influenced compositions. A follow-up collection of recordings named the “Amends EP” was released in November 2018. In March 2022, Adam partnered with Josh Parks Davis to release an irreverently catchy country album, the self-titled “Bruce & Parks EP.” Adam fronts the alt-rock group the New Bodies which released two singles (“Tied to You” and “Lady of the Lamppost”) in 2024. Adam performs as a duo with his wife April Lynn.
