Denver, CO – GetEmHigh.com and The Black Box are proud to announce the launch of “For The Record”, a new live event series dedicated to celebrating the art of sampling and the producers who transform forgotten vinyl into hip hop gems. Volume 1 kicks off with none other than Daringer, the acclaimed Buffalo, NY producer behind the gritty, soulful sound of Griselda Records, and known for his work with Westside Gunn, Action Bronson, and other hip hop luminaries.
“For The Record - Vol. 1” will take place on June 26, 2025, at The Black Box in Denver, CO. Known for its cutting-edge Funktion-One sound system, The Black Box offers the perfect venue to highlight the textures, chops, and rhythms of sampling-based music in full fidelity—placing the producer’s craft front and center.
Opening the night: Denver’s own KNDRX, who will also host the event. More local acts TBD
