Volunteer Opportunity: Help Us Shine for the Gay Games Denver 2030 Site Visit!
Denver is bidding to host the Gay Games in 2030, and we're incredibly excited about the prospect of bringing this inspiring event to our city! A crucial step in this process is the upcoming site visit from the Federation of Gay Games (FGG) committee, which will be happening in July.
To make the best possible impression and showcase Denver's beauty and readiness, we're organizing a park volunteer initiative in advance of their visit. We want to ensure our public spaces, which the FGG committee will undoubtedly see, continue to be welcoming.
We're looking for volunteers to help us with litter pick-up, painting, light landscaping, and general tidying in two key parks in Denver. Your contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in demonstrating Denver's commitment to excellence and our community spirit.
Here are the details:
📅. Date: Saturday, June 21st 9am - 12pm.
📍 Locations: Confluence Park AIDS Memorial
👩🏽🌾 What to Bring: Please wear comfortable clothing, gardening/work gloves, closed-toe shoes, and water. We will provide trash bags and any necessary tools.

This is a fantastic opportunity to show our pride in Denver and collective enthusiasm for hosting the Gay Games. Your help will directly contribute to making Denver stand out and hopefully secure this incredible event for our city.
