Misty Strong - Benefit for Misty Nelson

In May, Misty Nelson was diagnosed with Stage 2C Colon Cancer. She had major surgery to remove four cancerous masses and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.

Misty is facing her health journey with the same strength, humor, and heart she’s shared during her 20+ years caring for JMHS residents. She and her husband, Dan, live in Dawson and are proud parents to Teddy and Jade. In June, the family celebrated Jade’s wedding to Kyle Anderson, a joyful reminder of the love and milestones worth fighting for. Misty also finds comfort in her beloved dogs, who have brought her comfort and joy throughout this journey.
