This summer, AURORA presents the return of Art Quest—a neighborhood scavenger hunt in which outstanding works by regional artists are awarded as prizes to participants.
The second Art Quest event will take place in Pleasant Grove on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 5 until 9 pm at Gallery 86 (2084 N Jim Miller Rd Suite 102A, Dallas, TX 75217), with an artwork by Hector Ramirez. Participants will have the opportunity to win a digital file of a video artwork by Ramirez as well as a 65-inch Insignia Smart TV.
Throughout the Art Quest event (5-9 pm), AURORA will host a community gathering event in partnership with Los Primos and Gallery 86. In addition to the scavenger hunt, there will be a range of activities, including the closing event of the art exhibition ‘Pleasant Grove in Color’ at Gallery 86, performances, and free food and beverages. The artwork prize will also be on public view at the event and the artist will be present.
How to Participate
Starting at 5 pm, all participants should join the community gathering event at Gallery 86.
At 5:50 pm, the first clue will be handed out onsite to start the quest.
At 6 pm, it will also be shared on AURORA’s social media channels—Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn—for participants not present at the event location.
Participants are invited to follow along, racing to find three clue cards at three different locations. The scavenger hunt ends when the first person with all three clues cards returns to the community gathering event at Gallery 86.
The winner will take Hector Ramirez’ artwork (along with a certificate of authenticity) and a 65-inch Insignia Smart TV, and will have the opportunity to meet the artist.
After the winner is announced, all participants will be invited to gather once again to celebrate the winner, meet the creator of the artworks, and enjoy refreshments from food vendors.

About Art Quest 2025
Art Quest 2025 will take place on June 4 in Bachman, June 21 in Pleasant Grove, and July 12 in South Dallas. For this occasion, AURORA has commissioned three outstanding works of art created by regional artists Nicolás González, Hector Ramirez, and Nitashia Johnson. In addition to artworks, participants will have the opportunity to win a TV, along with a digital file by Ramirez, and a projector, along with a digital file by Johnson, during the Art Quest 2025 program.
Additionally, the program will feature a workshop—an introduction to 3D printing led by Nick Bontrager on June 28. It will also include a group exhibition titled ‘Pleasant Grove in Color’ at Gallery 86, featuring artworks that celebrate the vibrancy and power of color, on view from June 13 to 21.
The fourth edition of Art Quest is made possible with support from The Addy Foundation, The Hudson Foundation, City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture, Communities Foundation of Texas, The Cedars Union, and Joe V’s Smart Shop.

Este verano, AURORA presenta el regreso de Art Quest, una búsqueda del tesoro por el barrio en la que los participantes pueden encontrar destacadas obras de arte realizadas por artistas locales.

Durante el Art Quest (5 pm-9 pm), AURORA organizará un encuentro comunitario en colaboración con Gallery 86. Invitamos a los participantes a conectarse y a informarse sobre las principales organizaciones, empresas y espacios públicos de la comunidad. Cómo participar
A partir de las 5 pm, los participantes deberán sumarse al evento comunitario en Gallery 86.
A las 5:30 pm se entregará físicamente la primera pista a los asistentes al evento para iniciar la búsqueda. Poco después, a las 6 pm, también se compartirá dicha pista en las redes sociales de AURORA (Instagram, Facebook, X y LinkedIn) con los participantes que no estén presentes en el evento.
Esta primera pista llevará a los participantes por un viaje comunitario hasta llegar a la cuarta estación: Gallery 86. La primera persona que complete la búsqueda presentando todas las pistas de papel ganará en el acto la obra de Héctor Ramírez (junto con un certificado de autenticidad), así como un televisor Insignia Smart TV, y tendrá la oportunidad de conocer al artista.
El final de Art Quest se celebrará con un acto de clausura en Gallery 86, donde se invitará a los participantes a reunirse una vez más para celebrar al ganador, conocer al creador de la obra de arte y disfrutar de un refrigerio ofrecido por los proveedores de alimentos.
Acerca de Art Quest 2025
Art Quest 2025 tendrá lugar el 4 de junio en Bachman, el 21 de junio en Pleasant Grove y el 12 de julio en South Dallas. Para esta ocasión, AURORA ha encargado tres destacadas obras de arte creadas por los artistas regionales Nicolás González, Héctor Ramírez y Nitashia Johnson.
