Medical professionals, please join us for his interactive session to deepen participants’ understanding of mental health disparities disproportionately impacting LGBTQ+ youth.
Drawing on the latest research our experts will highlight the systemic & interpersonal factors contributing to these inequities, and offer evidence-based strategies for more inclusive, affirming care delivery. Participants will gain practical tools to foster respectful, empowering interactions and promote positive mental health outcomes.
PRESENTATION DETAILS:
Attendees can expect to gain the following from this seminar:
1. Name at least 3 mental health disparities experienced by LGBTQ+ youth.
2. Describe at least 2 steps to disrupt bias and/or rebuild trust.
3. Detail 2 key elements of practicing respect as the default.
