Experience a beautifully curated dinner crafted by Chef Aaron Holt, owner of Doolittle Farm and 2018 Iowa Restaurant Association’s Chef of the Year. Known for his hyper-seasonal, farm-forward cooking, Aaron brings his own hand-grown produce—fruits, vegetables, edible flowers, and microgreens—from his family’s century farm in Story City to the table.

About Capital Call:

Capital Call Vintners was born from the shared passion of a unique partnership. Alan, a West Coast native with a profound understanding of the Pacific Northwest—developed through his work as a soil scientist, geologist, researcher, and educator at Washington State University—brings deep viticultural expertise and a genuine connection to the land. Partnering with Steve, an Iowa farm boy and seasoned entrepreneur in agriculture and real estate, they recognized the region’s untapped potential.

Their passion extends to producing wines from Washington’s top AVAs. By harnessing the unique terroirs of both Red Mountain and Walla Walla, Capital Call Vintners captures the true essence of the Pacific Northwest.

At the heart of this journey is acclaimed winemaker, Josh Maloney. With over 70 wines scoring 90+ points and experience at renowned estates like Stags Leap Winery and Chateau St. Michelle.

About Aaron Holt:

Aaron Holt is the owner of Doolittle Farm LLC. As a master chef, Aaron Holt was awarded Iowa Restaurant Associations Chef of the Year in 2018. In 2017, Aaron started his own business where he grows vegetables, fruits, edible flowers + micro-greens on his family's century farm in Story City, Iowa.
