As many of you know we lost Brett Thornberry on December, 20th 2011 due to gun violence. After 13 years we have never spoke out about the pain and distress this has caused my family. I'm am taking this day in honor of my brother and the many other victims who have lost their lives due to senseless crimes. This is going to be a day in the park to spread awareness and the many stories that have shaped the issues we face throughout this country towards gun violence. ** this is not a Anti-gun protest, this is strictly to spread awareness for the many victims and families who have lost lives and loved ones due to gun violence***
