Simms Summer Concerts will turn up the volume on Sunday, July 27, at 7 p.m. with Time Well Wasted, a 10-piece, horn-driven band from the Comox Valley known for their high-energy performances and infectious sound.
Lighting up stages across Vancouver Island for more than 20 years, Time Well Wasted delivers a dynamic blend of rock, R&B, pop and dance. Performing mega hits from legends like Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire and Santana — along with modern artists such as Bruno Mars, Adele and Taylor Swift — their unique mix of timeless influences and contemporary sounds offers something for music fans of all ages.
The concert will run until approximately 8:30 p.m. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the music in the riverside setting of Simms Millennium Park, located by the 5th Street Bridge and across from Lewis Park.
The free Simms Summer Concerts continue most Sundays at 7 p.m. through August. Upcoming performances include Stealing Dan on August 10, Shotgun Kelly on August 17, and the Doobie Brothers Experience on August 24, which will also feature a food bank drive.
