A little party never killed nobody. It's the jazz age and you're invited to the swankiest nightspot in town. Step back in time to the roaring 1920s with the ultimate dress up tea party. Join us in our tea garden for an evening of glitz and glam. The Tin Pan Alley Cats will be hosting a 1920s themed tea party in The Old Capitol Tea Garden, weather permitting. In case of rain, tea party will be held inside. Dress to impress in your finest flapper dresses and dapper suits and enjoy a delightful tea service of a tea party. Don't miss out on this fun and festive event that's sure to transport you to a bygone era of elegance and excitement.
Our tea events are hosted in The Old Capitol Tea Room and, when weather permits, in our beautiful Tea Garden. The garden is an uncovered space, and due to staffing and logistical considerations, we are unable to host events outdoors if there is any chance of rain. While we love utilizing the garden, but we cannot guarantee that any specific event will be held outside. Weather permitting, this afternoon tea will be held in the tea garden otherwise the tea will be held in the tea room. Please be advised, there is a concrete staircase leading to the Tea Garden with its only entrance being on High Street and navigating stairs is necessary to access the garden.
Join us Friday June 6th at 7pm for our Roaring 20s Gatsby Tea Party! Tea party lasts 1 hour.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- A sit down tea party with finger sandwiches, desserts, loose leaf teas and tax.
- Tea party lasts approximately 1 hour.
- Live music.
-Check In begins 10 minutes prior to start time. No early entry.
- A visit to one of the most historic homes in Downtown Corydon. The tea room is in our living room & dining room of our 108 year old home.
-A "theatre" experience where tea meets theatre. We are the only tea room in the Midwest that offers entertainment themed with your tea party.
TO PURCHASE TABLE:
Tickets are purchased in the form of tables. We have 9 tables labeled A-I and they note how many guests are at the table. Tables are set for their max capacity so no additional seats may be added to the tables as they are currently set.

Once payment is submitted ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. No exceptions. There are no cancellation policies due to the limited seating and catering of the tea events. Please note with the ever-changing health climate, you are purchasing your table at your own risk. Once you have purchased your table, we cannot alter your table selection. Please double check your order before your final purchase.
Purchasing a ticket signifies you have read and understand all the guidelines, ticket policies, event dates, time, theme details, menu, and table layout. Please communicate arrival time and parking information with your guests.
