Freshwater Explorers Volunteer Workshop

Calling all Freshwater Explorers! Are you looking to volunteer and make a difference by helping to protect your local river? Join the Freshwater Explorers workshop and contribute to real environmental research by conducting water quality monitoring in our region!💦

On July 8th at 5pm, learn how to use Water Rangers’ water quality test kits to measure important indicators like pH, temperature, and conductivity. We’ll guide you through a hands-on demo and show you how to upload your results to Water Rangers’ open-data platform—making your observations part of a national community science effort.

At the end at of the workshop, volunteers can sign-out a test kit to monitor the water quality of the river throughout the summer.
