240 Years of Anglicanism along the Saint Lawrence River

Come join us on Sunday June 15th at Trinity Anglican Church, Cornwall, as we celebrate over 240 years of Anglican ministry, fellowship, and tradition along the Saint Lawrence River! This day will also be a commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the consecration of our current church building, originally dedicated as Bishop Strachan Memorial Church!

Bishop Shane Parker will be the celebrant at our Eucharist at 10:00am, followed by a reception organized by our Sunday School.
At 4:00pm, Trinity Church will be offering a service of Choral Evensong (also known as Vespers or sung Evening Prayer), following the familiar liturgical traditions passed down for centuries!

Both of these services will be accompanied by a mass choir featuring singers from all of our local Anglican Churches, along with guest musicians from Montreal, and all of our events will see participation from all of our local Anglican Churches: Christ Church, Seaway; Saint John's, Lancaster; and Trinity Church, Cornwall, as well as some special guests!

A traditional High Tea will follow the service at 5:00pm, but as space is limited, please let us know (613-933-3991) if you're coming. Donations towards the cost of the High Tea and the life and ministry of our churches will be accepted.
