Japonisme: Cassatt, Morisot, and the 19th century Japanese Art Craze in the West

Manager of Arts Education Kevin Gray will discuss the massive influence of Japanese art and culture on European and American artists in the late 19th century, in particular on Mary Cassatt and Berthe Morisot. Attendees will enjoy complimentary Japanese snacks during the lecture.
