About the event

Family Farm Fun

A fun weekly gathering designed for families with children. Each week, a variety of new games, craft activities, and hands-on lessons will be introduced, with elementary academic content best suited for children ages 4 – 10.

Program topics:
July 22: The Farmers Year with scarecrow craft

July 29: Farm Chores with Soap making craft

August 5: Weather with a rain gauge project

August 12: Simple Machines with catapult project

August 19: End-of-season gathering

Included with museum admission. Museum members are free. The program includes a free ride on the Empire State Carousel.
