Sunshine and Thunderstorms

We open the 2025-26 season with Sunshine and Thunderstorms, featuring music of contrast and vitality. Mozart’s astonishing First Symphony, composed at age eight, pairs with a rare bass concerto by Cimador performed by Fenimore Chamber Orchestra principal double bass David Irvin. Haydn’s dramatic “La Passione” Symphony closes the program with intensity and passion.
